Schaffer Solutions was founded on a straightforward belief: technology decisions should be driven by what a business actually needs, not by which vendor has the best sales pitch.

That belief comes from experience. Before launching Schaffer Solutions, our founder Johnathan Schaffer spent over two decades inside the organizations that most consultants only advise from the outside. He started on the infrastructure side, building and consolidating network operations across a national footprint. From there, he moved into business strategy and transformation, leading workplace technology programs, real estate portfolio strategy, and enterprise platform implementations for Fortune 500 clients across four continents.

Along the way, he created the Gap Assessment Framework, a structured methodology for mapping business requirements against technology capabilities that became the foundation of how we work today. That framework has been applied across global consulting engagements, real estate technology deployments, and enterprise transformation programs, consistently producing results because it starts with the business problem, not the product.

He also built partner ecosystems and go-to-market operations for organizations ranging from Fortune 100 telecommunications companies to national staffing firms to employee-owned construction and infrastructure services companies. That work included designing strategic alliances programs, launching sales enablement systems, and standing up entire business development functions from scratch in environments where none existed before.

Schaffer Solutions brings all of that together. We are a vendor-neutral technology advisory firm based in the Kansas City metro, serving mid-market and enterprise clients who need an advisor that understands both the technology landscape and the operational realities of running a business. We work through a structured four-phase process (Discover, Analyze and Plan, Source and Secure, Deploy and Manage) and leverage channel partnerships to source solutions across fiber, SD-WAN, UCaaS, cloud, data center, cybersecurity, and managed services.
